Almighty God, our Father:
전능하신 우리 아버지 하나님:
Everything we see, and everything we can't see, exists because of you alone.
우리의 눈에 보이는 모든 것들과 보이지 않는 모든 것들은 오직 당신이 계시기에 존재합니다.
It all comes from you, it all belongs to you, it all exists for your glory.

History is your story.

The Scripture tells us, "Hear, O Israel, the LORD is our God, the LORD is one." And you are the compassionate and merciful one. And you are loving to everyone you have made.

Now today we rejoice not only in America's peaceful transfer of power for the 44th time, we celebrate a hinge point of history with the inauguration of our first African American president of the United States.

Bless and protect him, his family, Vice President Biden, the Cabinet, and every one of our freely elected leaders.

Help us, O God, to remember that we are Americans--united not by race or religion or blood, but to our commitment to freedom and justice for all.
오 하나님, 우리가 인종, 종교, 혈족이 아닌 모두를 위한 자유와 정의에 대한 헌신으로 하나가 된 미국인임을 기억하도록 도와주옵소서.
When we focus on ourselves, when we fight each other, when we forget you--forgive us.

When we presume that our greatness and our prosperity is ours alone--forgive us.

When we fail to treat our fellow human beings and all the earth with the respect that they deserve--forgive us.

And as we face these difficult days ahead, may we have a new birth of clarity in our aims, responsibility in our actions, humility in our approaches, and civility in our attitudes even when we differ.
그리고 우리가 지금과 같은 어려운 시기를 맞이할 때 우리를 새롭게 하옵소서. 목표를 분명히 하고, 우리의 행동에 책임을 지며, 문제에 접근할 때 겸손하고, 서로가 다를찌라도 다른 이들을 존중할 수 있는 태도를 가질 수 있게 하옵소서.
Help us to share, to serve, and to seek the common good of all.

May all people of good will today join together to work for a more just, a more healthy, and a more prosperous nation and a peaceful planet.

And may we never forget that one day, all nations--and all people--will stand accountable before you.

우리가 우리에게 죄 지은 자를 사하여 준 것 같이 우리의 죄를 사하여 주옵시고,
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,
우리를 시험에 들게 하지 마옵시고, 다만 악에서 구하옵소서.
for Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
