Last night I lay a-sleeping
There came a dream so fair,
I stood in old Jerusalem
Beside the temple there.
I heard the children singing,
And ever as they sang,
Me thought the voice of angels
From heaven in answer rang.

Jerusalem! Jerusalem!
Lift up your gates and sing,
Hosanna in the highest!
Hosanna to your King!

And then me thought my dream was changed,
The streets no longer rang,
Hushed were the glad Hosannas
The little children sang.
The sun grew dark with mystery,
The morn was cold and chill,
As the shadow of a cross arose
Upon a lonely hill.

Jerusalem! Jerusalem!
Hark! How the angels sing,
Hosanna in the highest!
Hosanna to your King!

And onc　　e again the scene was changed;
New earth there seemed to be;
I saw the Holy City
Beside the tideless sea;
The light of God was on its streets,
The gates were open wide,
And all who would might enter,
And no one　　 was denied.
No need of moon or stars by night,
Or sun to shine by day;
It was the new Jerusalem
That would not pass away.

Jerusalem! Jerusalem!
Sing for the night is o'er!
Hosanna in the highest!

나는 여호와 너희의 거룩한 자요

이스라엘의 창조자요 너희 왕이니라

 

너희는 이전 일을  기억하지 말며 옛적 일을

생각하지 말라

 

보라 내가 새 일을 행하리니 이제 나타낼 것이라

너희가 그것을 알지 못하겠느냐  정녕히 내가

광야에 길과 사막에 강을 내리니  장차  들짐승 곧

시랑과 및 타조도 나를 존경할 것은 내가 광야에 물들을 ,

사막에 강들을 내어 내 백성,나의 택한 자로 마시게 할 것임이라

 

이 백성은 내가 나를 위하여 지었나니

나의 찬송을 부르게 하려 함이니라
