JOAN SCHMITZ/조앤 슈미츠 - SPRING 1973

Vision 1 While in intercession in the Spring of 1973, I received two visions.  What I and 

heard I now write, as the Lord has confirmed that this is His time for me to write them 

down, for they are for the Body of Christ. Scene 1 As the vision opened I saw myself 

digging in a garbage bag.  This so surprised me that out of my spirit I said, “Lord, what 

am I doing digging in a garbage bag?”  It was then that a man appeared before me.  

He was skin and bones, having hollow eyes.  The Lord spoke into my spirit – “FAMINE.”

환상 1. 1973년 봄에 중보하던 중 두 가지 환상을 받았다 내가 보고 들은 것은 이제 내가 쓴 것이다 

주님께서 지금 내가 그것들을 적을 때 이 때가 그의 시간임을 확인시켜 주셨으므로 그리스도의 몸/

교회를 위한 것이기 때문이다 

장면 1. 환상이 열리자 나는 쓰레기봉투를 뒤지는 내 모습을 보았다 이것은 나의 영이 너무나 깜짝

놀라서 이렇게 말했다 “주여, 내가 쓰레기봉투를 뒤지며 뭘하고 있는 거예요?” 그때 한 남자가 내 앞에 

나타났다 그는 피부와 뼈가 움푹 들어간 눈이었다 주님께서 내 영혼에게 말씀하셨다 - "기근."

Scene 2  The next scene that came before me was a street scene. The atmosphere was 

somewhat dark, but I could see people gathered on the corner.  At this point I was made 

aware that there was fighting and great turmoil.  It was then that the Lord spoke in my 

spirit that “many would die by the sword and famine.” Scene 3 In the next scene I was 

lifted up by the Spirit, and as I was looking down, I saw people marching in ranks.  

Their appearance was that of starvation, as they were skin and bones with hollow eyes.  

As I watched and listened, into my spirit 

장면 2. 다음 장면은 내 앞에 거리의 풍경이었다 분위기는 다소 어두웠지만 모퉁이에 사람들이 모여 

있는 것이 보였다 이 순간 나는 싸움과 큰 혼란이 있다는 것을 깨달았다 그때 주님께서 내 마음속에 

“많은 사람들이 검과 기근에 의해 죽을 것이다”라고 말씀하셨다 

장면 3. 다음 장면에서 나는 성령의 이끌려 들려 올라갔고 아래를 내려다보고 있을 때 사람들이 대열을 

이루며 행진하는 것을 보았다 그들의 모습은 피부와 뼈가 움푹 들어간 눈이었고 굶주림의 모습이었다 

내가 지켜보았고 나의 영으로 들었던 것처럼 말이다

I was reminded of the great persecution of the Jews under Hitler during World War II. 

As they marched they were singing a song in a language that I was not familiar with. 

As I listened, I began to sing in the Spirit the same song.  At a later time, the Lord showed 

me that this would be the coming persecution of the Church and the Jews. It was then that 

the Lord spoke to me saying, “The stage is being set and the curtain is about to rise on the 

whole new world system,and the money you have will not be worth the paper it’s written on.”

제 2차 세계 대전 중 히틀러 밑에서 유대인에 대한 큰 박해를 상기시켰다 그들은 행진을 하면서 내가 

익숙하지 않은 언어로 노래를 부르고 있었다 나는 그 노래를 들으면서 성령님의 똑같은 노래를 부르기 

시작했다 나중에 주님은 이것이 교회와 유대인의 박해가 될 것이라는 것을 보여 주셨다 그때 주님께서 

내게 말씀하셨다 “무대는 세워지고 커튼은 완전히 새로운 세계 체제로 일어나게 될 것이다 그리고 

너희가 가진 돈은 그 위에 쓰여진 숫자는 종이에 불과하여 가치가 없을 것이다.”

Vision 2 As the vision opened I saw the Earth in space.  Just above the Earth I saw 

a thick mass, which not only overshadowed the Earth, but extended out a little beyond 

the Earth at both sides.    As I watched, trying to understand what I was seeing, a large 

scorpion appeared at the left side of the mass.  It was then that I heard a voice saying, 

“These are principalities and powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual 

wickedness in high places coming down upon the Earth.” The scene then changed from 

the whole Earth in space to a large map of the United States.  As I continued to watch 

and listen, my attention was drawn to the West, and an earthquake of great magnitude 

hit.  I heard the Lord say, “The very Earth shall reel to and fro on her axis.” My attention 

was then drawn to California and the states surrounding it.  

환상 2.  환상이 열리자 나는 우주에서 지구를 보았다 지구 바로 위에 두꺼운 덩어리가 있었는데 

그것은 지구를 가려 놓았을 뿐만 아니라 양쪽에서 지구를 조금 넘어서 확장되었다 내가 보고 있는 것을 

이해하려고 애쓰면서 지켜보는 동안 거대한 전갈이 덩어리의 왼쪽에서 나타났다 그때 나는 “이들은 

주권과 권력이며 이 세상의 어둠의 지배자이며 높은 곳에서 지구위로 내려온 영적인 악이다” 라는 

목소리를 들었다 그 장면은 우주의 지구 전체에서 미국의 커다란 지도로 바뀌었다 계속 보고 듣는 

동안 나는 서부에 관심을 끌었고 엄청난 강도의 지진이 일어났다 “지구 자체가 지축을 이리저리 휘감고 

흔들어대리라.” 라고 하시는 주님의 말씀을 들었다 그때 나는 캘리포니아와 그 주변이 있는

주들에게 관심이 끌렸다

All the area was under water.  It was as if the Earth once more appeared, and the water 

came from California and all that area, and flowed down and around the Earth, and across 

the peninsula of Florida which was covered with water except for one small area. The water 

continued to flow up the East Coast.  It was then that I saw something that looked like a 

giant wall standing off the shores of New York City. As I watched the giant wave, I pondered 

what it was. Then the Lord opened my understanding, and I was made to know that it was 

a tidal wave.  As I watched the giant wave, it began to fold over and go over the skyscrapers.  

It was then that I cried out to the Lord saying, “Lord, Your people, Your people!”  He then 

replied, “The peoples of the Earth shall be brought together upon one common ground – 

SURVIVAL!”

모든 지역이 물속으로 들어갔다 마치 지구가 다시 한 번 나타난 것 같았고 물은 캘리포니아와 그 모든 

지역에서 왔고 지구를 따라 흘러내려와 지구를 돌아다녔고 플로리다 반도를 가로질러 작은 한 지역을 

제외하고는 물로 덮이게 되었다 물은 계속 동해안을 따라 흘러갔다 그때 나는 뉴욕시의 해안에 서 있는 

거대한 벽처럼 보이는 것을 보았다 거대한 파도를 보면서 나는 그것이 무엇인지 곰곰이 생각했다 그때 

주님께서 내 이해를 열어주셨고 나는 그것이 파도라는 것을 알게 되었다 거대한 파도를 지켜보는 동안 

파도는 접혀서 고층건물 위로 올라가기 시작했다 그때 나는 주님께 소리치며 말했다 “주님, 당신의 

백성, 당신의 백성들!” 이라고 외쳤다 주님은 응답하셨다 “지구의 백성들은 하나의 공통된 땅, 

즉 생존을 위해 모일 것이니라 - 생존을 위해서!”
